...… NCAV Clinic: Fundamentals of Power Volleyball: Offensive Hitting and Setting
HURRAY>>>> TWO CLINICS IN THE MONTH OF MAY!!!!! GET ON BOARD!!!!
NCAV is pleased to announce two training clinics offered during the month of May 2007. These
clinics will help our individual members learn more about the sport of volleyball and increase their
comfort on the court. Additionally, these clinics move our league into a stronger position to support
advanced and competitive divisions.
David Crumb, who recently returned to Cleveland, will be overseeing NCAV clinics on May 24th
and May 31st. "David brings years of experience in volleyball", shared Todd Saporito, NCAV
President / League Commissioner. "He has already been integral in helping our traveling teams,
has worked with many players at Tri-C and at Cudell. David has the respect of our leadership and
our members."

Fundamentals of Power Volleyball: Offensive Hitting and Setting
Description:
Running an effective offense is crucial in power volleyball. After this clinic, you will gain a
better understanding of hitting and setting. Persons will have the opportunity to concentrate
on either hitting or setting for this session.
Hitting Fundamentals:
-Footwork and approach techniques
-Armswring for maximum jump
-Topspin techniques
-Drills you can do on your own to improve hitting skills
Setting Fundamentals:
-Footwork
-Arm and Hand techniques
-Forward and Backward setting
-Setting 4 and 2 balls.
