ANNOUNCEMENT:  NCAV Vice-Commissioner - Doug Anderson
..... Success!!! NCAV Fall Session Bake Sale Extravaganza Fundraiser

Congratulations to the NCAV Fall Session participants in the 1st NCAV Bake Sale Extravaganza.  
Bake sale donors brought in enough items to fill three entire banquet tables full of desserts, cookies,
cakes and pastries.    Banquet tables were set up with festive linens, baskets, and even free coffee
donated by Jeff Axberg, life partner of Doug Anderson, NCAV Vice-Commissioner.   Beyond table
setup and personal donations, Jeff staffed the Bake Sale all day, as he has staffed our main table
selling Gatorade and Water and Raffles over the past several weeks.    

“Jeff has been an integral volunteer member of NCAV since the beginning of the Fall Session”
stated Sam Kincaid, NCAV Treasurer.     “Jeff’s level of commitment as a volunteer member is
recognized and appreciated by the Board and general membership.    Thank you Jeff for all of
your support!”

All throughout Sunday, November 12, NCAV general member Bill Herringer and our Head Ref, Ann
Jaeckin, helped staff the table and added to the Bake Sale’s success.   The winner for "Best Design"
goes to Christian Ramamacher for his "Chocolate Cocks".   Sam Kincaid, NCAV Treasurer, won "Best
Taste" for his "Rocky Road Brownies".   "Organic Whole Wheat and Oatmeal with Chocolate Chip
Cookies" by Tom Raymont won the award for "Wildest Ingredients."   And Bill Herringer's "Oatmeal
Cookies with Macadamia Nuts" won the award "Just Like Mom's."

Thanks to all of you for your generous contributions and participation.   Over $100 in proceeds from
this Bake Sale will go directly to NCAV General Operating Funds.
