North Coast Athletics Volleyball will be held at Tri-C Metro Campus (see Facilities) on
Sunday's starting Aug 17, 2008. There will be 12 weeks of regular play, followed by one
week of playoffs, and one week of championships.
Team Rosters are due no later than Aug 17, 2008. Team rosters are capped at ten (10)
individual players, which must follow team formats as described in the rules/session
format. The Board wants to maintain the integrity of each team, particularly the
Intermediate Division. Intermediate teams may only have ONE (1) competitive player,
Advanced may only have TWO (2) competitive players. Competitive teams may use
any combination of player ratings, but may not have any players rated as NOVICE.
COMPETITIVE PLAYERS IN ADVANCED AND INTERMEDIATE DIVISIONS WILL HAVE NO
RESTRICTIONS ON THEIR LEVEL OF PLAY.
- The league requires a base fund for operations. There are inherent fees that should be
shared by all members, promoting ownership of the league by the members. Basic
Operating Costs is defined to include those items which are constant regardless of the
number of teams or members participating in the league. Those are: Equipment
Purchases, Banquet, Non-Profit Donations, Advisory Board Donations, Website, and
marketing. When permissible, Basic Operating Costs will be allocated to provide deposit
costs for facility rentals for Clinics and Open Gym. Members will be asked to typically
pay $5 during Clinics or Open Gym to help pay/offset additional costs beyond the
deposit.
- ONLY PAID REGISTERED MEMBERS OF NORTH COAST ATHLETICS VOLLEYBALL MAY PLAY ON
A NORTH COAST ATHLETICS VOLLEYBALL TEAM OR IN ANY FACILITY MANAGED BY NORTH
COAST ATHLETICS.
- Individual membership fees will be set at $30.00 for the 2008 Fall Session of the North
Coast Athletics Volleyball Season. Memberships will be valid from Aug 17th through Dec
31st, 2008.
NCAV TEAM FEES
- Team Fees will address non-base operation costs to operate the league for any
particular session. This will share the burden equally among the teams. Fees in this
category include facility rental fees, officiating fees, or any other service that is
specifically impacted by the number of teams participating in any given session.
- Team fees will be set at $350.00 for the 2008 Fall Session of the North Coast Athletics
Volleyball Season.
