ANNOUNCEMENT: NCAV  Vice Commissioner - Doug Anderson

All teams must have at least one (1) NCAV Certified Official and will be
required to officiate for the Intermediate Division.

This officiating class will cover the basics of rules and regulations, hand signals, and court awareness
for members of North Coast Athletics Volleyball. This is a preparation class for all players who will
participate in any NAGVA sanctioned Tournament and who can assist NCAV with officiating for our
organization.

Every Team that enters into a NAGVA tournament must have a minimum of 2 players certified as
official referees and also must have a certified official score keeper. At all NAGVA tournaments there
is a referee clinic that will provide an opportunity for players to be NAGVA certified officials.

This class offered by NCAV is an opportunity for members to be well prepared for the NAGVA clinic
and additionally begin officiating NCAV matches. “We hope that many members of NCAV will attend
the clinic to familiarize themselves with the duties and responsibilities of officiating,” quote Todd
Saporito NCAV Commissioner.

This class is free to all current members of NCAV and if you have any additional questions please
contact USAV and NAGVA Certified Official Doug Anderson at
wdouganderson@aol.com or call 216-
440-7411.
